Dear Wildcat Parents,

We're Lauri and Mike, proud K-State parents and founders of Wildcat Exchange. Lauri graduated from K-State and is now a K-State mom.

Like many of you, we felt a mix of emotions when dropping our student off to move into their freshman dorm – excitement for the new journey, pride in our child's accomplishments, and yes, a bit of that parental worry we all know too well! 

A few months into the first semester, during a particularly stressful week of midterms, we got that call back home as our student felt overwhelmed. We wished we could just pop over to give a hug and drop off favorite snacks, but being hours away made that impossible. That's when our lightbulb moment happened – we needed to create something to help parents send a little piece of home and a whole lot of love to their K-State students.

That's how Wildcat Exchange came to be! As parents who've been through the college journey, we know exactly what students need to feel supported and loved during everything from finals week to game days.

Our gift baskets and care packages are filled with the good stuff – the snacks that fuel late-night study sessions, the cozy K-State gear that shows school spirit, and those little touches of home that mean so much when you're missing family. We've been there – through the stressed-out phone calls, the exam anxiety, and those moments when our kids just needed to know we were thinking of them. So from our family to yours, we're here to help you send the perfect pick-me-up when your student needs it most.
